| Since the opening of Paradise Island our partner Delphis Diving Centers takes care here of all the diving. With a perfect safety record, they are able to show you with ease the best diving places in the North Male Atoll. All the Delphis instructors are having years of experience in Maldives and are able to offer you the helping hand exactly when you want or need it. If you are an experienced diver you can benefit from their knowledge of the divesites, so that you will be able to get the most out of each dive.Being located close to classic divesites like Blue Caves, HP reef, Banana Reef and Furana Thila, certified divers will have memorable experiences during their holiday. Every season offers something beautiful! In the European wintertime we can enjoy extremely good visibility underwater, which makes diving really feel like flying between the fish. From May to November, Paradise is the perfect location (only a 5 minutes boattrip away) for visiting one of the best manta spots in Maldives. Delphis is daily offering a minimum of at least two boat dives a day to any of the spots in the atoll while two tank dives and full day trips are frequently organised.If you are not a diver yet the lagoon of Paradise is the place to learn it. Delphis organizes beginner sessions in small groups, which will ensure you of personal attention and a comfortable way to learn diving. The big team of professional staff is multilingual ( eg at moment of writing 10 languages spoken ) and can all look back on a long teaching experience. Delphis offers all diving courses from easy beginner courses all the way up to diving instructor. Following gives you an impression of the different beginner courses.• consists of a basic diving theory briefing and theory quiz.• consists of 3 dives: i.e. an exercise session at the House Reef, an easy dive session at the House Reef and a real boat dive!• includes all necessary diving equipment, a log of the dives and a certification card.• will give you a “credit” if you want to continue, i.e. the first two dives are identical to the ones of the Scuba Diver- and Open Water Course and you will not have to repeat these dives if you sign up during your stay for either of these courses.• will allow you to dive within two weeks after certification, to a maximum of 12 m, under the guidance of a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor. A refreshment dive is often required if the course was too long ago!• consists of 3 dive theory sessions and theory quizzes.• consists of 5 dives: 3 exercise sessions on the House Reef and 2 boat dives* exercise sessions.• includes all necessary equipment, the Open Water manual, a logbook and a certification card.• will give you a “credit” if you want to continue your diving education, i.e. these five dives are identical to the first 5 of the Open Water Course and you will not have to repeat these dives if you sign up for the Open Water course.• will allow you after certification to dive up to a maximum of 12 m, under the guidance of a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Dive Instructor.• consists of 5 dive theory sessions, quizzes and a final exam.• consists of 9 dives: 5 exercise sessions on the House Reef and 4 boat dives* with exercises.• includes all necessary equipment, the Open Water Manual, a logbook and a certification card.• will make it possible to enrol into, for example, PADI Advance Open Water Diver course or other PADI Specialty courses.• will allow you, after certification, to dive to an advised maximum of 30 meters together with another certified diver.
